What Jamie finds inside the pit is quite disturbing but not to Jamie...Jamie believes that because he feeds what is living in the pit, it can be nothing but his friend...So Jamie carries on feeding the things in the pit all kinds of food until he runs out of ideas and decides to use the people that dislike him to satisfy their devilish appetites.

After meeting the boyfriend, Ross finds he is now the driver for him, running any kind of errand imaginable at any time.
Eventually, things come to an end for everyone involved as some are arrested and some just give up.

The story: This is a PBS documentation of the life of a preacher Jim Jones and his followers told by people who attended his church, believed in him and loved him but ended up feeling portrayed by him. Jim Jones basically ran a commune for years of people who wanted peace, love, and happiness while he preached to them in God's name and pretended to perform miracles for his followers.
But what his adoring followers really got in their end on a faithful day in November of 1978 was sudden death orchestrated by their preacher, by convincing them dying a mass suicide was their only way to peace...while he denied to them that they were actually committing suicide...he claimed it was revolutionary.

The first story titled "The Facts in the Case of Mr. Valdemar"...A greedy wife and her lover/dying husband's doctor plot to inherit all of her husbands' money when he dies by hypnotizing him into signing a release on his money every couple of weeks.
But when the rich man dies, the couple is shortly out of luck and life.
The second story titled "The Black Cat"...A man living with his girlfriend and working as a crime scene photographer obviously has a thing for death.
His girlfriend finds a black cat and is very happy with it.
That is until she finds out her boyfriend tortured and killed it for photographs to be in a book he is having published of his work.

The story: When a mean dog breeder;'s prized breeding dog has a litter of pups, the man's son takes the mom and babies to an abandoned house to help care for them like they should be cared for.
But the breeder finds the dogs and brings them all back to his house where he keeps the dogs, all but one which he doesn't care if it lives or dies because it doesn't resemble the mother at all.
Years go by and the young boy continues to care for the abandoned pup.
Until one day the boy tries desperately to tell his dad that the mom dog is sick and needs treatment, but his father will not listen.
That's when the all grown up pup makes all kinds of efforts to save its mom and in that process, the once-abandoned pup becomes a star!

Here we have yet another remake, the original film made in 1986.

The story: On April fools day, there is a debutante ball of sorts going on in honor of a newbie.
The girl who throws these fabulous parties happens to be a bigtime prankster.
Thinking that she is just getting back at her friends for various different things, one of her pranks goes horribly wrong and the target of the prank dies.
Now a small group of friends who were slightly involved in the death takes some sort of fall and bad publicity for the death.
A year later to the day of the death, the same small group receives a threat that all they have to do is admit who killed the young debutante at the party the year before and no one will get hurt.
But if they all carry on like they are all innocent, heads will roll.

Although there are not many survivors, one young girl is taken off to safety by the military by the urgent request of her mother.

The military once again finds the world they live in under attack of the same virus which took most of the people around them.
The military recruits one tough chick - who just happens to be the young girl who had survived the first outbreak - to find the cure for the virus and bring it back safely, which is no easy task.

The story goes a bit like this...an old antique dealer sells a handful of people different interesting and rare antiques from his shop.
Only to find out that every piece each buyer purchases from him is marked with some sort of curse which of course plays its part in each of the four stories - which are titled "The Gate Crasher", "An Act Of Kindness" , "The Elemental" and "The Door".

The story: When a truck driver is involved in a pretty big collision the local sheriff inspecting the scene finds she cannot 1, locate the driver of the truck and 2, something of a non-life form was also involved in the accident. This non-life form soon becomes a menace to the well-being of the people in town while the town's sheriff does her best at keeping them from harm.

The story : Philo Beddoe is a nice guy who lives with his mother , brother and orangutan.
He is also a really great amateur fighter.
One night while out for a good time , he meets and is smitten by a lady singer.
The two begin seeing each other , even though she says she already has a boyfriend.
Philo wants her to leave her so-called boyfriend and be with him and she agrees to do so.
While the two are out for a bite to eat , Philo is forced to beat up a couple of bikers who think they are tough but are just all talk.
He takes their bikes , sells them and gives the money to his honey , who says she needs a large amount to get on her feet and get her singing career into full swing.
When Philo goes to see his love the next day , he learns she has up and moved away without any word about why she left or where she went.
So the only thing he sees fit to do is pack up and set out to find her.
But the bikers and a pair of corrupt policemen are hot on his trail , looking to finish him off.

The story: A woman is en route with her boyfriend to a hospital where she believes can receive some help from the horrible nightmares she has been having, in which a creature to whom she refers to as 'the nightmare man' is tormenting her.
On the way to the hospital, the car they are traveling in breaks down due to a lack of gas.
By this time it is night and the boyfriend insists he can walk a few miles to get gas while she stays at the car.
But while at the car she is attacked by the nightmare man, who has only appeared in her dreams until now.
Now she is convinced he is real.
She runs to someplace for help and by luck, a few people are staying in a cabin in the woods and bring her inside.
She tries to tell them all what is going on but of course, they just think she's crazy...
That is until the nightmare man comes for them as well.
