The story : In the Spring of 1974 , British Glam rock sensation Brian Slade is shot down to his death at the beginning of a concert performance.
A few months later , the news headlines read that the death of Brian Slade is a hoax.
Ten years later , Arthur Stuart , who happened to be at that famous Slade concert , is a news journalist.
His boss asks that while he await a promised job , that he do some investigative reporting on what ever happened to Brian Slade....
Arthur doesnt like this at all as it is all a memory he has tried so hard to forget.
By talking to the people who knew him , Arthur learns all that he ever wanted to know about Slade and more.
