The story: This year for Thanksgiving, everyone will be at the Rushes.
When Muriel's mom shows up , she expresses that she is depressed.
Muriel doesnt understand why until her mom tells her she misses Muriel's father.
Muriel thinks her mom would be much happier if she married or traveled.
But none of that seems to suit her.
When it comes time for Muriel's mom to put the turkey in the oven, Muriel cannot get a hold of her on the phone.
Now Muriel is worried.
