Twice Dead (1988)

Released sometime in October of 1988 in the US.
Filmed entirely in California.
The story : Harry Cates has lost his business and is now bankrupt.
Just at the perfect time , he has also inherited an old mansion from his late uncle.
He takes his wife along with their two teenaged kids , Scott and Robin - from the only home they've ever known in Colorado with the intention of relocating in California.
When they show up at their new house though , there is a group of trouble makers hanging out all around it.
Just when the family thinks there will be a problem the police show up and clear the scene.
They also tell the family that the former owner was a famous actor....but , decide not to tell them anymore about that.
Quickly they get settled in and just as soon Scott begins seeing and experiencing weird things in the house.
But he doesn't tell anyone about it.
When Scott and Robin are on their way home from school on their first day , they have a run in with the trouble makers.
The leader of the trouble makers just has it out for Scott but his buddy , Crip - is strangely in love with Robin.
Scott and Robin get away this time , but day by day the trouble makers find ways to mess with them.
At the same time , Scott begins investigating the actors history and comes up with an idea to get rid of the trouble makers.
But just when Scott and Robin think they've scared them away , they get the surprise of their lives.
