The story : Tahiti. 1983.
San Diego native Tami has been living and working in Tahiti for a few years now.
She has been trying to travel the world and has no intention of going back home til she has.
While working at the marina Tami meets Richard.
The two begin a quick relationship while planning on sailing together.
While out on the town one evening they meet up with some old friends of Richard's who happen to have a proposition for him.
Due to situations out of their control they must return home. They need someone to sail their boat from Tahiti to San Diego for a very nice paycheck.
With mixed emotions Tami decides to accompany Richard on the trip but it has some very serious repercussions for the both of them.
