The story : Once upon a time , in a land called Andalasia , there lived a lovely young Princess named Giselle.
There , young , charming Prince Edward and Giselle are madly in love and soon will be married.
On the day of their wedding , as Giselle is on her way , she is stopped and distracted by an old maid.
The old maid , who is really Prince Edward's stepmother in disguise , is looking to keep the two from getting hitched and tricks Giselle.
The result is Giselle gets stranded in New York City , which is all new to her as she comes from a land of fairy tales.
Luckily because Giselle is so charming everyone she encounters in the city just adores her , which helps her along.
By chance she meets young Morgan and her dad , who take Giselle in and promise to help her find Prince Edward.
