The story: R is a zombie but he used to be a human teenager and he misses that.
He is lonely and scared of what his future will be.
While on a search for humans to eat with the rest of the zombies from his area of the dead zone part of a city where the zombies reside, they run into a group of human teenagers training to take down zombies.
That's when R sees human Julie and falls hard.
R saves Julie from the rest of the zombies and takes her back home with him.
At first, Julie is scared of R but he finds ways to get her to warm up to him.
When they become friends, Julie asks that R help her get home.
He convinces her she has to stay for a few days longer just so he can spend time with her.
