The story: Darwin, California is located in Death Valley.

Back in its heyday, it was a popular mining town.

Darwin also had a reputation for some really rough and tumble kind of folk.

These days though, it is a small town on the outskirts of a military base, where tourists do not go.

Darwin hosts one post office, one meeting hall and only 35 adult residents, each with their own story to tell.

The residents do not mind the peace and quiet of Darwin.

Living in Darwin is a certain way of life and, as a matter of fact, they welcome it.
