Shriek of the Mutilated (1974)

Released sometime in 1974 in the US.
Filmed in New York.
The story : A group of college students are told by their professor , "Hey! guess what! You're all going on a field trip!"
Everyone is like , "We are? Oh Okay, I guess we are."
Yep , they're all going to visit with a friend of the professors who happens to know where this yeti is.
Only the professor didn't tell the students that the last time he took people to see the yeti , it didn't end well. That was 7 years ago.
So , the night before the "field trip" , some of the students are at a party.
Another student , who seems to be the teachers pet , is out to dinner with the professor.
The students at the party get a rude awakening when one of the late comers lets them all in on how the professors little field trips go. How last time , no one but him and the professor came back. Everyone just thinks this guy is insane although they do hear him out.
The student out to dinner , is basically getting wined and dined and told how fabulous this field trip is gonna be.
Now , if I the viewer didn't know any better , I may just think that the professor is setting up the students to be...Yeti meals! But I don't know. Who knows?
