Filmed entirely in Italy.
The story : John Reilly is a guy with some really bad luck.
He has recently inherited a castle thats been in his family for years, only he had known nothing about it.
John takes his wife who is pissed at him and his recently blinded-for-life daughter to the castle to stay , check it out and see whats worth keeping before selling everything off.
The only person other than the small family at the castle is a housekeeper who has been there for many years.
One evening , John is awakened by a nightmare of the night his son died.
While wandering the castle , John hears what he believes are cries of a child. As his mind plays tricks on him , he has the idea in his head that the sounds he is hearing are those of his dead and buried son. And oops he cuts his hand , damn...
Thats when the housekeeper finds John , offers him help with his boo-boo and then proceeds to tell him the tragic story , of the young boy who lived in the castle and was said to be dead at the young age of five-years-old.
She also tells John that some of the towns people believe the young boy is haunting the castle...
