The story : When Matthew was just a little kid , he killed his dad and cut his own hand off in what seemed like a freak accident.
Matthew was sent away to live with the nuns , not to see his widowed mother for a good ten years.
Ten years goes by and Matthew is ready to come back home. Well , ...maybe he isnt exactly ready but he's eighteen now and well , they just gotta let him go.
He has just gotten word from his mom that she is going to be remarrying and Matthew will now have a new dad.
Yea but see , Matthew doesnt want no new dad. Matthew doesnt want any dads anymore. And Matthew is quite angry about all that so if he meets a new friend , that happens to be a girl...he cant help believing that its his mom , always looking to be with another man and break her and Matthew up. Hmmm yea...
Matthew tries like hell , but no matter how many one-eighties he does , or how many hills he tries running up , he cannot kick the illusion that every woman he meets is his mom.
