The story: Larry is a small-time kind of guy.
When he stops by the bowling alley with his girl, he notices they are giving away a new car.
Well, of course, Larry has to get in on this action even though he promised his girl he would take her to her niece's party.
So, when Larry wins, it takes up that time he needed to be on his way to the party and yep, there goes his girlfriend.
Now his ex runs an after school program and Larry finds himself hanging around there in an attempt to get his girl back even though his ex is now engaged to another more responsible chump.
While hanging around with the kids, Larry makes the mistake of telling a young believer that the tooth fairy isn't real. Later that night Larry is summonsed by the tooth fairy of the month to work off the trouble his mouth caused the tooth fairies of the world.

She tries to convince Virginia and all the other kids, that they are all being a bunch of babies because there is just no such thing as Santa Claus.
That's when Virginia goes in every direction she can to try and prove at least to herself that Santa is indeed real.

The story: A young boy makes a snowman whom he befriends in the middle of the night.
The two have lots of fun together as the boy invites the snowman inside his house and shows him all sorts of things a snowman would never get to see or learn about.
The boy pays special attention to making sure the snowman is comfortable and not warm enough to melt while he is inside the house.
When the boy believes that the curious snowman is making so much noise that they may awaken his parents, the two venture outside of the house into the snowy filled evening.
After a while, the snowman gets homesick and takes the young boy to meet all of his friends.

Santa Claus Is Coming To Town (1970)
Made for TV, airing December 14th in the US.
The story: A baby named Claus is left on the doorstep of mean man Burgermeister Herr Meisterburger, but he tells his henchmen to take the baby away to the orphanage.
In doing so, a mean wind carries the baby up up and away into the mountains of the Whispering Winds.
There, the baby is assisted by the animals, who take it to and leave it on the doorstep of the Kringles, a family of elves.
The Kringles take the baby in and raise it as one of their own.
The Kringles name the baby Kris and teach him to make toys.
When Kris is an adult, he realizes there is no one to give all the toys they've made to, so he takes them over the hills and into town.
But Burgermeister Herr Meisterburger has just recently outlawed toys, claiming toys are "illegal, immoral and unlawful'.

Siblings (2004)

The story: Joe, Margaret, Pete, and Danielle are all step brothers and sisters who have just lost the one adult in their young lives who has ever given a damn about them, their grandfather.
Now they are all stuck living with their evil step-parents, whom they despise and think should just be killed.
One morning while the oldest of the kids Joe is in the garage fixing the breaks on one of the step rents cars, he finds out that the only thing any of the kids had left of their grandfather, his beloved dog Potter - has been put down by the evil rents.
Well, Joe flips and loses his cool.
He snaps out on his evil stepmother and gets a big punch in the gut from his evil stepfather for it.
Joe lays wounded on the garage floor as the step rents drive away in the car he was fixing the breaks in.
But there's one problem, or rather happiness in this situation.
Joe hadn't put the brake fluid back in the car yet...

While the family spends a fun day Christmas shopping, George is still at work, stuck working late. When its time for him to clock out, go home and get the celebration train rolling, Mr. Spacely says his goodbyes with "I'll see you tomorrow." To which George has to remind him that tomorrow is, in fact, Christmas and he will not see him.
Mr. Spacely is later visited by the ghost of Christmas present, which shows him that if he doesn't change his greedy ways, he will live his afterlife, for all eternity, in the shadows of his greed.

First its ice skating.

Grover asks many kids how exactly they believe Santa will get down the chimney,
Ernie and Bert plan the best gifts they can for each other with the help of Mr. Hooper and Cookie Monster's attempts to get a message to Santa about all the cookies he would like to enjoy.

The Big White (2005)

The story: Paul Barnell is having some financial troubles.
First, his travel agency isn't doing very well and then his wife isn't either, and their medical bills are putting a hold on them.
So Paul decides that he should try and collect on his life insurance policy he has on his brother, whom he hasn't heard from in about 7 years.
When he tries to collect though, he is told there is no proof that he has passed without his brother's body.
A couple days later, luck nips at Pauls' nose when he finds a dead body and concocts a crazy plan to play the dead man off as his very own brother.
