The story: Adrienne Shelly was an actress who was making her way into directing.
Happily married and mother to a small daughter, things could not have been any better in her life.
The day after Adrienne and her beloved husband Andy celebrated their daughter Sophie's third birthday, Adrienne was murdered.
When her 2007 movie ' Waitress', which she wrote, directed and starred in became a Broadway hit, Andy began questioning if any of the public even knew who Adrienne was.
He didn't find many people who knew of her at all.
That's when he decided to tell his wife's life story along with friends and loved ones, to help himself and their Sophie remember Adrienne as well as educate the world.
