The story: Kate and Bill are the proud parents of only son, college student Sammy.
One day they get a phone call from Sammy who doesn't sound like himself.
He explains that he loves them both and ends their short conversation.
The next thing Bill and Kate learn is that apparently Sammy committed mass murder at his school also taking his own life.
Now Kate and Bill spend their days full of blame, guilt and unanswered questions while trying to live day to day.
