The story : Deborah is a 16-year-old struggling with schizophrenia.
Her parents are having a very difficult time coping and have recently admitted her to a metal institution as their last hope.
At first Deborah cannot come out of her fantasy world , its a place where she knows what to expect and she allows it to guide her through her days and nights.
But eventually after getting "good" attention which she was never getting at home from sincere Dr. Fried and a caring orderly , Deborah begins to understand that she can live life in the present and be happy.
