The story : Kate Lawrence is a US pop singing sensation.
When her agent explains her schedule for the coming year and he has her working non-stop for the next three , she flips.
Kate has been expressing to her agent that shes been wanting to try her hands at acting and why cant he get her that kind of gig.
Then he springs it on her , the only biters are in Australia.
Without hesitation Kate jumps a plane and lands , ready and willing in Australia.
There is a new play and they are willing to train Kate to be their new star.
She gets to know and falls quickly for a local critic who wants to help her become the actress she needs to be.
