Based on truths....yes and once again , the filmmakers have changed some stuff around. Most importantly , the names.
There is Angela Delvecchio (in real life , 16-year-old Bernadette Protti) as well as Stacy Lockwood (in real life , 15-year-old Kirsten Costas). As far as I understand it , the rest - besides some other names , plays out fairly authentically.
The story : Angela is a determined , happy girl who wants her future to go in great directions.
Angela has a girlfriend who happens to be good friends with the popular girl clique in school and believes this can take her to the places she wants to go.
The most important girl in the clique , who everyone adores in Stacy.
But the more Angela gets to know Stacy , the more she realizes she is a very mean person.
This really confuses Angela , as she was brought up to be a good , nice person and church is an important part of her and her families lives
One evening , Angela decides to trick Stacy into spending some time with her by inviting her to a party.
When Stacy finds out there isnt actually a party , she freaks and overreacts to the point where Angela gets scared that Stacy will make her look weird in front of her new friends,
Yea , Angela cant have that.
