Train To Nowhere : Inside an Immigrant Death Investigation (2010)

Made for TV , airing October 12th in the US.
Filming location(s) unknown.
The story : On October 14 , 2002 in Denison , Iowa , a railcar inspector made a gruesome discovery.
Inside a grain car , was a heap on the floor of what appeared to be human bodies.
The bodies were so badly decomposed that at first it was hard to tell just how many people were in there.
It took quite a while , but eventually it was found that inside the car there were infact eleven immigrants who were in an attempt to be smuggled into the US for work , but never made it out of the grain car.
They were locked inside the grain car and no one in on the smuggle plan came to ever let them out , due to Border Patrol inspectors.
The people inside all died horrible deaths due to dehydration and heat exposure.
The immigrants were all descendants of Mexico and Guatemala , who all had families or were part of families who cared for them.
Ranging in age and sex , the eleven people were left in their dying beds , four months before being discovered.
