Made for HBO , airing June 21st in the US.
The story : Josh Fox is a man who lives in the home that his parents built in 1972.
It is where he grew up and where he wants to be.
Recently he has received a letter from an energy company , asking that he sell his land to them for a pretty generous amount of dough , mainly for drilling purposes.
But what do they want to make his land into? And what will the long term effects have on the land??
Josh tries contacting any and all of the energy companies affiliated with the one who wants to buy from him , but gets not one answer or call back.
That's when he decides he should take to a road trip to places where he's heard that people are ill and getting sicker from their drinking water.
All due to big energy companies drilling large hydro fracking wells so close to their homes.
