The story: One evening as Audrey is walking Mrs. Howards' dog, the dog runs off on her into an abandoned house.
Miss Audrey goes inside looking for the dog, but what she finds is a woman's dead body.
She calls for the police, but the police only find the dog.
Although they do tell poor Miss Audrey that the woman who lived in the house was found murdered some time ago.
The killer was never found out.
Now all Audreys' thoughts are solely based on what she saw in the house.
For some reason , the deceased woman is after Audrey to help solve her murder.
