Creepshow : Time Out / The Things in Oakwood's Past (2021)

Season 3. Episode 5.

Story 1:  While attending the funeral of his grandfather, young Timmy opens the doors to the antique armoire that once belonged to his grandfather.

Just before he could step foot inside, his grandmother stopped him, warning him to never get stuck inside the armoire.

Ten years later, Tim is a college student.

His grandmother has passed and he recently received the armoire, key, and note from his grandmother, warning him to never go inside without the key...

Just as he is about to open the doors, he is stopped by unexpected but welcomed company.

Curiosity sets in the next day, without any time to waste due to a critical test he has to take today, and Tim opens and goes inside the armoire.

While inside, he notices time is flying by but when he gets back outside of the armoire,  he realizes no time has passed and he won't be late.

But time has passed. Tim just hasn't noticed that yet.

Story 2: The town of Oakwood has a very mysterious past.

200 hundred years ago, the townspeople of Oakwood up and vanished into thin air...

Everyone in town has a theory of what caused this strange occurrence but no one really knows what happened.

This Friday, Marnie Wrightson - who is the local librarian, President of the Historical Society, and the daughter of Oakwood's Mayor,, is going to try her hand at getting to the bottom of this age-old mystery.

She has found a stack of journals from the 1800s that she has recently been drawn to.

The back of the last journal, written the year the townspeople left town, has coordinates that Marnie believes will lead her to the answer.

It is possible though that no one in Oakwood really needs to know what happened...
