The story: There is a Halloween party going on in Ned and Stacey's building this year.
Ned is all set and has his costume idea ready but Stacey doesn't want to go.
She is depressed and wants to stay home but that's not doing anything for her either.
When Amanda comes by and tells Stacey that Scott, a guy she used to date is at the party and asking about her, she talks Stacey into going to the party.
But without Stacey knowing, Ned changed his costume and is dressed the same as Scott.
Stacey is also dressed just the same as the girl Ned just met.
When Ned and Stacey mistake each other for the people they really want to spend time with at the party and kiss, they think they are actually attracted to each other,
