The story: Dr. Fulci is a famous horror movie writer and director.

Recently he has been writing and filming some really gory stuff.

Now he is having a hard time eating and sleeping.

He goes to see a psychiatrist who explains that Fulci is suffering from an identity disorder, unable to distinguish reality from fiction.

The more he works on his latest film and then is hypnotized by the psychiatrist, the more he drifts into madness.
