The story: Tommy, John, Michael, and Shakes are four best friends who do everything together.
Growing up in Hells Kitchen in the 60s, the boys know their neighborhood like the back of their hands and believe they are untouchable.
One scorching hot day the boys decide to get themselves a few hotdogs from the local vendor only they don't plan on paying for them.
When the plan goes horribly wrong, the boys find themselves doing time in a home for wayward boys.
But if things aren't bad enough, the boys must endure horrible abuse while incarcerated that changes their lives forever.
