The story : It's 2006 Red River , Tennessee.
A teenage girl , living with her divorced mother , is struggling with nightmares.
Her mother decides it is time to look into her families history , which took place in the exact house her and her daughter are living in.
She learns that her family was haunted and terrorized by what is known as the Bell Witch due to a financial matter in 1817.
When she comes to the realization of what happened and why , mom races to stop the same thing from happening in her life.
