The story : When John Roberts befriended Joel Roseman , the two ambitious young men decided they wanted to go into business together.
Living in Woodstock , New York they believed that Woodstock was a place that many artists thrived.
So , a recording studio seemed like the logical solution.
While thinking of popular music artists that would possibly come to Woodstock and record their music , they stumbled on an even better idea...
How about a music festival for many people with many artists.
Three years after the idea was thought up the festival became a reality.
No one could have ever dreamed what the actual result would be.
