The Beguiled (1971)

The story: During a Confederate/Yankee war, "Yank" soldier John McBurney is wounded and near death, just waiting to be found in the woods.
A young girl who lives close by at an all-girl school finds John and doesn't have the heart to just leave him for dead, this is possible because shes in love with him now?
Geez, I don't know. Okay, whatever.
So she takes John back to her school, for her teachers to help him.
Although they have reservations about helping him, hmmm they also all have ulterior motives for keeping him around and not turning him over to the soldiers on their side.
