Bernie is such a sweet guy, who goes out of his way and then some to make new widows comfortable with any kind of help he can give.
Bernie tries and tries to be compassionate with Marjorie Nugent, a newly widowed rich lady but she won't budge.
Until one day, Miss Marjorie gives in to Bernies' kind ways and the two almost instantly become constant companions.
But after some time, Marjorie gets more and more difficult with Bernie, trying to isolate him and boss him about while being quite malicious.
No one saw it coming, not even Bernie but yes, Bernie finally snaps.
