The story : In 1976 , history teacher Ben Du Toit at a "whites only" school in South Africa.
Ben has no problems with the African people where he lives , in fact his gardener is a South African family man who Ben has much respect for.
When Ben's gardener comes to him for help because his son was beaten by white police , Ben believes his hands are tied.
Then the gardeners son goes missing after being in a protest of school children for equal rights and he knows that the police are to blame.
The gardener is arrested and beaten to death for going against the police.
Ben is horrified and wants justice for his friend.
He will do everything he can to make that a reality.

The story : In 1967 , married millionaire Cullen Davis was having an affair with Priscilla , who was also married
When their affair became public , their spouses left them and they were free to marry each other.
Cullen gave Priscilla everything she could have dreamed of.
But when their marriage became estranged the couple separated , beginning a large battle over money.
One evening , when Priscilla and her new beau arrived home after a night at the movies - they were both shot by someone appearing to be a burglar.
Priscilla survived the attack and was able to appear on the witness stand in a trial concerning Cullen being the shooter.
When Cullen was acquitted for the murders of Priscilla's beau , her young daughter and the injuries of herself and a friends boyfriend - Priscilla was convinced justice was not served.
Some years later , Cullen was once again arrested and put in prison for the attempted hits of many people , including Priscilla - just so he could win his divorce settlement.

There is Angela Delvecchio (in real life , 16-year-old Bernadette Protti) as well as Stacy Lockwood (in real life , 15-year-old Kirsten Costas). As far as I understand it , the rest - besides some other names , plays out fairly authentically.
The story : Angela is a determined , happy girl who wants her future to go in great directions.
Angela has a girlfriend who happens to be good friends with the popular girl clique in school and believes this can take her to the places she wants to go.
The most important girl in the clique , who everyone adores in Stacy.
But the more Angela gets to know Stacy , the more she realizes she is a very mean person.
This really confuses Angela , as she was brought up to be a good , nice person and church is an important part of her and her families lives
One evening , Angela decides to trick Stacy into spending some time with her by inviting her to a party.
When Stacy finds out there isnt actually a party , she freaks and overreacts to the point where Angela gets scared that Stacy will make her look weird in front of her new friends,
Yea , Angela cant have that.

The story : In 1986 , Marla is a young woman from a small town aspiring to become a sought-after model in the bright lights of New York.
Working on her own , pawning her test cards and going on "go-sees" all over the city , Marla isnt having much luck without an agent.
One night at a party Marla is lucky enough to meet established fashion photographer Eric Warner.
Eric is taken by Marla's beauty so much that he gives her his card and offers to do some photos to help her out.
Marla takes Eric up on his offer and in this process meets the make-up guy who is working for him - Steve Roth....who immediately becomes infatuated with Marlas face...
Soon , things are beginning to move along in Marla's favor. She even gets a bedroom in an apartment along with two other models in a building Steve Roth owns.
At first , this seems like a fabulous idea.
But after no time at all Steve becomes overly creepy , stalker-ish and just plain out demented towards her.
Marla decides she doesnt want anything more to do with Steve and she's moving out!
Only Steve doesnt deal with rejection well.
