The story: Mentally ill Simon has just recently made his way back home after a small stint in the hospital.
Unsure of himself but making an effort, Simon is on the lookout for a job but is having no luck.
On his way home one day, he believes he is a witness to a young woman being brutally taken against her will.
When Simon cannot get the police to listen to him, he decides he must take matters into his own hands.
Without much info to help other than what he remembers as the license plate on the vehicle that the young woman was forced into, Simon decides to ask his neighbor Ed, a retired college security guard, to help him.
Ed doesn't have much respect for Simon, but because of his persistence about what he saw and then Ed feeling bad for him, the two begin a dangerous mission trying to track down the owner of the plate.
