The story: Desiree is a tough Cajun lady who supports herself, her sister, and her brother by poaching alligators.
When deputy Billy and Ben chase her, she gives them a good chase.
Just when they think they've caught her she outsmarts them and gets away.
But Billy accidentally shoots Ben in the process, blaming Desiree for the whole thing.
When the sheriff, deputy, Ben's father, and brothers go looking for her to get their revenge, they really make matters worse.
