The story: While out walking one day instead of being at work, married with children Jean witnesses a woman commit suicide.
Immediately after Jean begins leading a double life while making up the story that he killed the woman.
He writes it all down and sends it to the newspaper.
Soon he begins reading his letters in the paper and enjoying every minute of the attention.
But Jean does not really take into consideration that he can be and will be prosecuted for a murder he didn't actually commit.
