The story : By the end of the 80s , the WWF dominated the professional wrestling world.
No one had more power than WWF owner Vince McMahon.
But there was another guy who wanted that status.
Herb Abrams , a small business owner had a dream.
He wanted to create what Vince had made famous.
During a wrestling fan meet and greet , Herb announced and recruited many wrestlers to his brainchild , the UWF.
Many of the recruited wrestlers were done with WWF and found lots of freedom in the UWF world.
But no one really knew Herb and no one knew what the future would bring for their careers with him , although they enjoyed the opportunity.
When Herb offered to help Vince with the West Coast part of the WWF and Vince shot him down , it became a mission to bury Vince.
The intention and determination was there and things could not have been better in the beginning.
But of course things took a turn for the worst when Herb's drug use escalated while he continuously tossed money around.
Finally , when Herb was unable to make the money he needed to pay everyone and it wasn't there to be given , his dream hit rock bottom hard.
