The Three Faces of Eve (1957)
Released September 18th in the US.
Filmed entirely in California.
Based on truths.
The story: Mrs. Eve White has been having some trouble lately.
Her husband takes her to a new doctor Dr. Luther, a man their regular doctor sends them to see.
Apparently, Eve has been having terrible headaches, that appear out of nowhere and then, she finds herself having, "spells."
The spells involve Eve doing and saying things she does not remember at all.
After speaking with Eve alone, the doctor comes to the very rare conclusion that she is suffering from multiple personality disorder.
Rare because at the time, no doctors have really experienced such a case but Eve's doctor does not deny that she has the disorder.
As soon as the doctor and Eve believe they are gaining progress, she has another spell which causes much harm to her sanity and home life.
It is up to Dr. Luther to work closely with Eve and get to the basis for the reason of her disorder.
