The Girl Most Likely to... (1973)

Made for TV, airing on ABC, November 6th in the US.
Filmed in California.
The story: Miriam is a college student who is extremely smart, talented, thoughtful and kind.
But she doesn't have anything going for her in the looks department...
As much as Miriam tries to make friends, no one really wants to be around her.
She begins tutoring a star football player by request of a teacher and that seems to go pretty well until they go to a drive-in movie together and Miriam gets ditched.
After being forced to walk back to her dorm in the pouring rain she isn't allowed in, due to her self-centered roommate, and she ends up with a head cold.
She goes to see a doctor on campus who makes plans with her for a date later that night, only to have her be the subject of a prank.
Miriam is next picked for the lead in a play the school is putting on but her roommate is jealous and ruins everything for her.
That's when Miriam has had just enough.
She jumps in her car and off she goes, wanting to never return.
But she gets into an accident...
The next thing Miriam knows, she is in the hospital, bandaged from head to toe.
When the bandages are removed and Miriam sees herself again she cannot believe her eyes.
Instead of looking hideously deformed she looks amazing beautiful!
This surely puts ideas into Miriam's head about all the people who wronged her because paybacks are a bitch, my dear.
