Kay and Jack are a happily married couple.
Soon Jack is off to war and that leaves Kay alone and lonely.
She decides she wants to help the troops so she goes out and gets herself a job at an aircraft plant.
There she befriends her neighbor and finds herself involved romantically with a co worker.
