Tonight is no different other than they are trying to keep game night secret from their used to be friend/neighbor turned awkward Gary and Max's older brother Brooks is due for a visit.
During the evening , Brooks invites everyone to his rental place for a game night to top all.
Max sees Brooks as always topping every situation so this is assumed to be nothing less.
When Max and Annie show up , they are informed that this game night is going to be a murder mystery.
But things get switched up out of the blue due to Brooks' secret life.
