The story : It's 1977 and it's been quite a long time but Gary Gilmore has finally made his way out of prison and back into his hometown in Utah.
He tries hard to make an honest living but he has no skills and really doesnt do too well with people.
One evening while hanging out with a friend from work , Gary meets young , single , mother-of-two Nicole.
Gary falls hard for Nicole and convinces her that they should be together.
Together they get for a while but when Gary cant deal with daily life outside their home he begins to lose it.
At her wits end with Gary , Nicole leaves him.
Now Gary is really up shits creek and doesnt think he can go on.
This on top of not being able to make ends meet throws Gary into a life of crime once again.
