Season 4. Episode 6.
The story: Doug goes shopping with Deacon for a Halloween costume for his son Kirby.
Doug grabs a bunch of candy for himself and explains that he and Carrie usually pretend they aren't home on Halloween.
Deacon busts Doug's chops because Kirby likes to trick or treat at their house, so he talks him into getting a pumpkin at least to be somewhat festive.
Doug gets home and begins carving his jack o lantern.
When Arthur gets home and sees the pumpkin he flips, screaming Halloween is forbidden in the house.
Arthur hates Halloween.
But Doug ain't having any of it. He feels like Arthur is just a dictating, insane mooch.
The problem is, this could be bad for Arthur's health.
