Season 2. Episode 10.
The story: Greedy, selfish spinster Elma Dinnock enters the yearly pumpkin competition every year and every year she loses to one of the other towns' ladies.
When she snaps out in front of everyone claiming the competition is fixed, she is set straight by the winner.
The lady who won the competition explains to Elma that winning the competition is more about what you give to the community rather than who has the biggest pumpkin and sends Elma on her way.
Later on, a man who was at the competition approaches Elma telling her that he has a way for her to win next years competition.
If she will only give him 10 thousand dollars so he can continue his research, he will give her his growth serum.
