The story : It's a typical day after school for the four Cantwell children.
The oldest of the four - Maggie , pretty much takes the lead in making sure everyone is doing what they are supposed to while they all do their share in cleaning up after their parents typical nightly cocktail get together.
Maggie's kind of pissed off about how her parents act , mainly her mother Donnas' childish and self-centered behavior.
Later on that night , it doesn't help matters that Maggie catches her mother oogling Mr. Knotts while her father and Mrs. Knotts are in the next room.
Soon , after just a few too many drinks , the truth comes out into the open about Mr. Knotts and Donna's affair.
Maggie is then forced into confronting her mother about how she is acting.
