The story : Jenny and Danny Corelli are excited to bring their young son home from the hospital.
It seems his doctor had misdiagnosed him three years ago as mentally retarded.
The Corelli's are just finding out now that their son is actually deaf.
So the couple believes they can handle their sons lack of hearing. Shouldn't be too hard to handle.
But what they don't realize is that they have no idea how to go about caring for a child that cannot hear or speak.
They try their best but the pressures of it all are quite overwhelming.
