Season 5. Episode 16.
The story: When Timmy is out in town buying candy, he meets some kids his age - Alice and Bobby.
He walks home with them and finds out that they are living in an old tool shed while their dad tries to fix their car so they can relocate.
Timmy tells his mom all about them and she believes to be neighborly is the right thing to do.
She brings the family a care package, but the childrens' dad turns her down, saying they do not take charity.
Timmy later gets the idea to send Lassie over to the family with a gift package. Their father allows them to keep it this time.
Bobby goes to see Timmy and makes him promise not to tell anyone about his family.
He promises although he doesn't understand why.
Timmy comes up with the idea that he will be Santa Claus on the street in town to collect donations for his new friends.
