The story : A branch of the government has just cancelled any further work on their C.H.U.D. project.
A doctor who is unaware of this , is still working with the C.H.U.D. and is attacked when it suddenly comes back to life and escapes.
Now the head of this project is looking to get his C.H.U.D. back.
Meanwhile , at Winter Haven high school , best buds Steve , Kevin and Katie are all working on dissection. They all learn they will be getting a visit from a cadaver for the class real soon.
Later in the same day , Kevin and Steve are still at school , having to take care of the lab animals due to getting in trouble.
While messing around , they find their new classmate the cadaver , and accidentally set him free.
Now they need to find another to replace him.
So unknowingly , they scoop up C.H.U.D. , who at the time happens to be resting quietly in a local morgue.
They bring C.H.U.D. to Steves' house trying to hide him til hes due to be at school.
But , of course , they bring C.H.U.D. back to life in the process and all C.H.U.D. cares about is "meat"!
