The Castle (1997)

The story: Darryl Kerrigan is a proud man.
He is the father of four delightful kids, although one in jail, he still loves them all unconditionally.
He adores his wife, whom he sees as a brilliant and creative doll.
But the one thing that Darryl cares about the most is his home, where he believes all his family has to go when they need to.
Darryl doesn't care that his home is located right beside the local airport, he finds it brings it much charm.
One day, Darryl is visited by a man who wants to appraise Darryl's home.
Although he is a bit confused at first, he goes along with it and takes great pleasure in pointing out all the additions he has made and is very proud of.
A few days after the appraisal, Darryl and his family get a letter that explains to them that the state is going to take their home, tear it down for expansion to the airport.
