The story: Brandon Teena was a young man, trapped in a woman's body.
Struggling for acceptance and love, young Brandon found himself searching for just that.
After burning bridges in his hometown, he flees to another part of Nebraska to make a new start for himself.
But he ends up falling into the same pattern he was desperately trying to run away from.
Only this time, it became the death of him...and a couple of his friends.
Here Brandons' story is told by people that were close to him, many of his ex-girlfriends, the police that were involved with him and his murder, a couple prison inmates and the jailed men who did the murdering.
