The story : In 1983 , three young whales were ripped from their families in Berufjorour off the east coast of Iceland purely to be taken to the marine park Sealand of the Pacific in South Oak Bay , Oak Bay Marina, in the city of Victoria, in British Columbia, Canada , to be trained as a show spotlight for the park.
Out of the three whales, only one survived. That one whale is known as Tilikum, who is a male.

On February 21, 1991, a female trainer who never went into the tank with the animals, slipped into the water by accident.

On January 9, 1992, Tilikum was sent to live at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida.
There, on February 24, 2010, Tilikum caused the death of yet another female trainer. SeaWorld covered their asses on the incident, claiming the trainer's death was her own fault.
