Leaving Neverland (2019)

Released as a two-part series on HBO, March 3rd & 4th in the US.
Filmed in Australia and California.
The story: Michael Jackson has always been popular but during the mid-80s, his career was at an all-time high.
Everyone wanted to meet him.
In 1986, 5-year-old, Australian Wade Robson's dreams came true when Michael came to Australia and Wade found himself dancing onstage with him.
In 1987 , 10-year-old James Safechuck found himself starring in a Pepsi commercial alongside Michael Jackson, which started a ten-year relationship between himself, his parents, and Michael.
When Wade was 7 years old he, his sister, and their mother became close friends and travel companions with the pop icon.
Both boys had a special spot in their hearts for the singer, becoming really great friends with him as well as trusting him completely.
But both boys were covering up a seriously horrible secret.
Both men claim that during those years, both were being sexually abused by him.
Nothing came of any of it until years after James and Wade had begun to go on with their lives, not seeing their friend as often as they once did.
Other young boys, who found themselves in the same exact positions as 10-year-old James and 7-year-old Wade began coming forward, accusing the star of sexual misconduct.
But years after defending their famous friend on the witness stand and claiming to have never experienced any abuse whatsoever, issues in their own lives became apparent.
