The story: John Burns is a criminal that was sent to a mental institution.
After driving Dr. Baird at the institution beyond crazy, the doctor decides to make arrangements for John to go back to prison.
While sitting in the doctors' office, John takes a phone call pretending to be the Dr. Baird.
It seems a famous psychiatrist is taking a break and would like Dr. Baird to fill in for him.
John accepts the job as Dr. Baird and proceeds to make his way to take over.
