The story : In 1979 , Gilda Radner took a break from performing on Saturday Night Live.
During that break , Gilda created and performed in her own broadway show titled 'Gilda Radner : Live From New York'.
The show ran from August 2nd til September 22nd.
Gilda performed songs written by herself as well as some others , along with the singing trio Rogue.
She also performed skits which she had made famous on Saturday Night Live.
Performances by Father Guido Sarducci from Saturday Night Live were also included in the show.
